A simple cape near Brandon, Vermont has a
glimmering green roof, and in a certain light
the white wood glows a pale violet. Nothing
grand, but still so lovely.
I would like to write a poem about the world that has in it
nothing fancy.
But it seems impossible.
Whatever the subject, the morning sun
glimmers it.
