This is a painting I waited a long time to paint. For years my family spent two weeks at a lovely cabin at Hulett’s Landing in Lake George, and we would sail by Sabbath Bay on the west side of the lake. I don’t get to spend time in Lake George now but I know my bones are buried there and it will always be my favorite place on earth.

Instructions for living a life:
Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.
