study for passing through
In a private collection
sold through Edgewater Gallery
In late summer I found this dead end road in Charlotte, Vermont
where someone had carefully mowed and tended a path. I got permission
to set up my easel and I came back to this spot many times to stare at the
beautiful winding path to the sky.
Whatever you choose to claim
of me is always yours:
nothing is truly mine
except my name. I only
borrowed this dust.
