The painting will be shown until mid-April.

There is a Vermont metal roofing material
that ages into the most beautiful soft green.
I recently found an old photograph of
three buildings sitting in early April light.
Capturing the reflected light that manages
to sneak in between the chicken coop and
the barn was a wonderful challenge.
The study helped me to understand the
the buildings in a visceral way so that I
was ready to paint the slightly larger final
painting.
